- This is a terrific series..
I found Ken after hearing about the First Colony series and quickly read the first five books.. While waiting for book six I saw the Ascension series and blew thru those six books and was really hoping for more in that series... Sooo good...Ken, you really need to consider a spin-off of Ascension..
Anyway, this was a great book and can’t wait for number 8.
Oh, and thanx for the bio info at the end of the book. Interesting stuff.. - This Colony series by Ken Lizoto mesmerized me into reading the whole series in less than one week!
Thank you, Ken, for writing this wonderful science fiction adventure. Your writing excels in terms of describing exciting battles and novel technologies as well as creating believable personalities and relationships.
One thing I'd like to see you add to you Colony series is some details about the exact size of New Earth compared to old Earth, including relative gravity, relative size of oceans and land mass.
You’re an outstanding writer.
PS I also enjoyed the audio books listening to several chapters and reading others. - This author is able to mold the plot in such a way that you're left leaning into the screen (if you're on ), I get excited every time I get to continue reading into this series and even read this before two other books I purchase first.
I highly recommend starting from book one as even though each book could be standalone you'll miss out on a lot of history.
Best of luck to Ken. - While I enjoy the characters and the general plotlines (both major and minor) of this series, I don't like loose ends. Some authors like to think they are writing a 'cliff-hanger' ending to draw readers to the next book. Almost no one can write a good cliff-hanger, they are just a bunch of incomplete stories. This book was one big loose end.

I must go to a different device to access them. - The whole concept of colonizing a planet filled with remains of a previous advanced civilization left the doors wide open for the author’s imagination to run rampant. He made the most of it taking us on a journey of exploration like few others Couldn’t put it down!
- First started getting to know Ken's writing style with the First Colony series Book1, and have not stopped yet. I have thoroughly enjoyed this escape into sci-fi adventure and will certainly be ready to read the next in this series. Thank you Ken and keep up the good work.
